Incident Narrative
An employee was removing a life ring stand mounted to the wharf so it could be moved to a new location. While unbolting the life ring base plate from the concrete, the employee's left index finger was caught between the metal plate and the concrete base surface. The employee sustained a tissue amputation to the left index fingertip.
