Incident Narrative
An employee had loaded railroad ties into a customer's trailer. The employee was bending down to retrieve a strap between the railroad ties (that were on the forklift) and the tilt-up rail of the trailer. The customer pulled forward and the employee became caught between the customer's trailer and the forklift. The employee was hospitalized with four broken ribs on their right side and two dislocated ribs on their left side.
