An employee was using a mini skid steer to remove electric arc furnace (EAF) dust from under the cone room's outfeed conveyor belt. The skid steer was under the conveyor when he lowered the bucket; the back end of the skid-steer came up and pinched the employee's finger between the skid-steer and conveyor belt. The employee sustained an amputation to the right middle finger.
