Incident Narrative

An employee was operating a pneumatic carousel to create steel tubing bundles. A snatch block controlling the tension of a rope holding the bundles together snapped, causing the steel tubes to fall and strike the employee in the lower right knee. The employee sustained a right tibial plateau fracture.
