Incident Narrative

An employee was performing an initial attack on a small fire incident. During the suppression effort, the top of a fire-weakened snag fell out of a tree and struck him in the left shoulder. The employee suffered torn/stretched ligaments between the shoulder and arm, a hairline fracture in his shoulder, and a palm-sized burn on his back-left shoulder blade and the back side of his upper left arm.
