Incident Narrative

An employee was felling a hemlock tree with a chainsaw. A nearby tree pushed the tree off the stump, causing it to strike the employee. He sustained punctures to multiple abdominal areas and his femur was fractured in three places. The employee was hospitalized and had surgery.
