Incident Narrative

An employee was disposing of old coffee in a pot and preparing to make a new pot of coffee. The employee emptied the pot into a bucket on the counter and reached under the counter to retrieve filters and coffee bags. The bucket of coffee fell onto the employee, causing second- and third-degree burns to his chest, arms, and feet that required hospitalization.
