Incident Narrative
A maintenance employee had just tightened a bolt. A second employee then put a wrench on it to check it. As the second employee was applying pressure to the wrench, a valve which controls the flow from the degreaser to the washer opened slightly. The injured employee was sprayed by 200-degree stock. He sustained third degree burns to both hands and second degree burns to his back.
