Incident Narrative

An employee pushed a button to open the dock lock on the bumper of a semi-trailer, but it didn't release properly. The employee went to manually release the dock lock and the truck started moving, crushing his right hand between the lock hook and the bumper. The employee sustained multiple hand fractures.
