Incident Narrative

An employee was assisting with the removal of a discharge bottle for a maintenance activity. The bottle was suspended with a hoist when it shifted and pinned the employee's leg between it and a piece of pipe. The employee's left leg was bruised and swollen below the knee, requiring hospitalization and surgery.
