Incident Narrative
An employee was moving an injection mold with an overhead crane. The mold began swinging and the employee tried to steady the mold by grabbing it with both hands. The swinging mold struck against the mold setting and pinched the employee's finger. The employee sustained an amputation of the left ring fingertip.
