Incident Narrative

A roofing employee was installing tile underlayment using a hot asphalt application. The employee slipped and grabbed a bucket of hot tar to gain balance. The hot tar then spilled on the employee, and he fell from a one-story roof onto the bushes below. The employee sustained burns on his arms and back.
