Incident Narrative

A temporary employee (of Savvy Staffing) was standing in front of a valve when it was opened. Scalding water was discharged onto the employee, causing severe burns to 40 percent of the employee's body including the lower abdomen, pelvis, thighs, arms, and hands. The employee was hospitalized.
