Incident Narrative
An employee was near the motor compartment of a CNC machine, troubleshooting the guard. Another employee pressed a button to stop the machine at the end of the cycle, so that the injured employee could look at the machine. When the cycle ended, the motor returned to the "home" position and pinned the injured employee between the motor and the side of the machine. The employee was hospitalized with a crushed pelvis.
