Incident Narrative
Employees were installing goal posts for an overhead power line crossing. While installing a PVC pipe with guide wire attached to the top, the pipe made contact with the overhead electrical line and energized the guide wire, shocking one of the employees. The employee was knocked to the ground and sustained burns to the hand and foot, requiring hospitalization.
