Incident Narrative

An employee was on an 8-foot ladder installing a pipe in the truss. He nailed a 2x4 between two trusses with a nail gun to hold the pipes. As the employee leaned slightly to line up the pipes before securing them, the board broke free, causing him to fall to the concrete floor. The employee sustained a left hip fracture.
