Incident Narrative
An employee was working from a baker scaffold to install drywall on the top portion of an interior wall that separates the living room from the bedroom. As he went to place his right foot on the third rung, his foot slipped through the ladder section frame, causing him to fall backward 3.5 feet to the ground. The employee landed on his head/neck, resulting in a C2 vertebral fracture as well as a head contusion.
