Incident Narrative
An employee was inspecting a non-functioning garage door. The employee pulled the emergency garage door release pull cord while standing on the third step of a ladder; the cord snapped back and the employee fell to the concrete floor, his left side striking a box that contained a pointed object. He suffered seven broken ribs, a broken scapula, and a collapsed lung.
