Incident Narrative
An employee was standing on a baker scaffold approximately 6 feet high and using a trowel to apply synthetic stucco. The board (platform) became soft when the employee stepped on it. He then jumped back and struck the scaffold railing, causing the scaffold to tilt over and fall to the ground. The employee landed on the concrete sidewalk and sustained a fractured elbow and laceration to the back of the right arm.
