A maintenance technician was adjusting a tension spring on a robot welding carousel. The technician asked the operator to cycle the rotating table so that he could observe and troubleshoot. As it rotated, the employee was struck by the leg of the robotic welder and sustained contusions and abrasions to the right thigh.
