Incident Narrative

An employee was unclogging a steel pipe oil line with an air tank. The oil line fitting ruptured, causing the employee to sustain a laceration to the left forearm and right side of head. The fitting then sparked and created a flash fire. The employee sustained first-degree burns to the face and second-degree burns to both arms.
