Incident Narrative

An employee was working from a scissor lift, using an impact drill to remove the couplings from around the cap of a sprinkler main. When the cap was removed, pressure caused it to strike the employee in the chest. The employee suffered a broken sternum, broken ribs, a heart contusion, and a facial abrasion.
