Incident Narrative
An employee was about to unload frac sand at a well site. The power takeoff was engaged and caused the pneumatic trailer to pressurize. When the employee tried to remove a metal cap on the discharge hose, it blew off and struck him below his left knee. He suffered a laceration and a broken tibia.
