Incident Narrative

An employee had been painting with primer. A torch was lit by a general contractor and caused fumes from the primer to ignite. The employee saw a bucket of primer was near the fire. He grabbed the bucket, not knowing the bucket of primer was also on fire. The employee was then lit on fire, sustaining second degree burns to 60% of his body.
