Incident Narrative
An employee was dumping a trash hopper (carried by a forklift) into an outside dumpster. As the employee was releasing a lever on the hopper with their right hand, their left middle finger was caught between the hopper and the forklift fork. The employee suffered a partial amputation from the first knuckle to the tip of the finger.
