Incident Narrative
An employee set up a 6-foot A-frame ladder on the lift gate of his truck to install panel doors and a grill on a refrigeration unit, located on the front nose of a semi-trailer. While descending the ladder, the employee lost balance and fell backward, approximately 4 to 5 feet, to the ground. The employee sustained injuries to their wrist, ribs, and hip.
