Incident Narrative
An employee was exiting the rear of a delivery vehicle from the passenger side using three points of contact when his foot slipped off of the vehicle's step. He was unable to grip the handrail before falling on the ground. His left hip hit the rear bumper, causing a fracture to his hip, and he also fractured his wrist upon impact with the ground. He was hospitalized.
