An employee was walking the ship tracing a welding gas line. The employee climbed a scaffolding ladder and then climbed over an access gate/guardrail and stepped onto plastic sheeting that was covering an existing opening. The employee fell 30 feet and was hospitalized for a dislocated shoulder and a hip puncture.
