Incident Narrative

An employee was using a manlift to reach a platform and remove material from the infeed conveyor. As he stepped out of the manlift onto the platform he fell about 8 feet and landed on a pile of shredded metals. The employee suffered a C-5 vertebra fracture and was hospitalized.
