Two employees carried a piece of glass that had been on a conference room table to the dumpster. The glass was roughly 8 feet by 3 feet. As the employees got ready to put the glass into the dumpster, the glass shattered, causing a severe laceration to the right forearm of one of the employees. The laceration required surgery.
