Incident Narrative
A vehicle battery frame was being held by a scissor lift on one end while two other employees at the other end pushed the battery (weighing about 650 pounds) into position to be attached to the frame. One employee's left ring finger was caught and crushed between the frame and the battery. The employee's fingertip was amputated.
