Incident Narrative
An employee was at a construction site to review project work and to direct future project work. After concluding her meeting, the employee was in the driveway returning to her vehicle to leave the construction site when a tree from the abutting property fell and struck the employee, portions of the building under construction, and a vehicle. The employee lost consciousness and suffered skull and brain injuries that required surgery. The employee also sustained neck trauma and bone fractures along with lacerations, bruising, and swelling.
