An employee was cleaning under a rewinder machine. The employee backed out in a crouched position, began to stand up, and turned to get traction. The employee's left foot got caught under the outfeed discharge conveyor; they fell with their foot under the conveyor, landing on their face and suffering a laceration over the eye that required 7 stitches, as well as a left ankle dislocation and tibia-fibula fracture.
