Incident Narrative

An employee was using a push mower to mow a lawn near a fence on company property. He let go of the mower handle, turned around to his right, and stepped backward, tripping over a steel I-beam that was laying on the ground. He fell to the ground, landing on his right hip. The employee sustained a fractured right hip that required surgery.
