Incident Narrative
A bucket truck was being used to remove limbs from a dead tree. A primary limb was cut, struck the limb of another tree below, and fell to the ground. As this occurred, a smaller limb broke off from the primary limb and struck the face and hard hat of an employee who was acting as a safety spotter. The employee sustained a fracture above the right eye.
