An employee was standing on a truss, sheathing the side of another truss. The employee then attempted to set up a truss to the layout tie but lost his balance and fell 12 feet onto a concrete patio. The employee was hospitalized with breathing complications and chest pain. The employee's lifeline was untied at the time.
