Incident Narrative
An employee moved a small step stool under a stationary fan so he could reach the fan. The employee was repositioning the fan when his left hand slipped past the guard and contacted the metal fan blades. The first and third fingertips on his left hand were lacerated and the second fingertip was amputated.
