Incident Narrative

An employee was fixing a crossup at the sorter incline chain. The employee was attempting to get on the grating under the incline chain when his foot slipped and he fell in-between the guardrail and the grating. He fell 14 feet to the floor, hitting an airline on the way down. The employee was hospitalized with a fractured skull and possible fractured vertebrae.
