An employee climbed to the top of a ladder and was stepping onto a roof when he lost his balance and fell toward the ground. A coworker caught him under his arms from behind, preventing his head from hitting the ground, but not before his heels hit the sidewalk hard. He suffered a compression fracture and heelbone fractures, requiring hospitalization.
