Incident Narrative

While working under or around a scaffold, an employee was struck in the chest by a 3-foot long, 65-pound S-spool that fell while it was being buffered with a wire wheel by an employee up on the 10-foot scaffold deck. The employee was hospitalized with chest bruising.
