Incident Narrative
On December 4, 2018, an employee had repaired a hot water system line and it began to leak after it was turned back on. It was then shut off, and an adjacent line and pump were turned on. The employee went to find the serial number off the pump that had leaked; when he was in the area, the adjacent pump sprung a leak and sprayed 180-degree water onto him. His back, shoulder, and eye were scalded.
