Incident Narrative

At 5:45 p.m. on July 19, 2019, an employee was using a jib on a bucket truck. He had his left hand on the winch line to help with the slack; when he turned, his left little finger was drawn into the pinch point created by the winch line and spool. He suffered a partial transphalangeal amputation of the left little finger, as well as a fracture to the little finger and ring finger.
