Incident Narrative

An employee was unloading a sign trailer and disconnecting a sign from its travel supports. The employee's right arm was caught on the horizontal stiffener (Z-bar). The employee fell off the trailer and suffered a laceration to the right arm from under the arm pit to below the elbow. The brachial artery was severed.
