An employee was operating an asphalt saturator when a break in paper occurred. The employee was removing the asphalt-saturated paper from the saturator box when a roller caught the employee's gloved left hand and pinned it against the gate, crushing and burning it. The employee was hospitalized, undergoing surgery.
