Incident Narrative

On May 7, 2018, aluminum pieces 15 to 20 feet in length were being unloaded from a truck. When a PIT operator removed straps from the load, several bundles of aluminum fell and struck an employee from behind. He suffered a broken leg and severe head injury, requiring hospitalization.
