Incident Narrative

An employee was part of a crew that was cleaning railcars. After cleaning the last car, they were getting ready to close the back door. One of the employees had his left hand in the doorway when another employee slammed the door closed on his left ring finger. His finger was smashed, and his fingertip had to eventually be surgically amputated.
