Incident Narrative

An employee was unloading freight in back of the trailer. Freight on load bars had shifted during transit. While removing the load bar that was bracing a crate, the crate tipped toward the employee and fell off the load bars. The crate landed on his leg and pinched his finger between the crate and the floor of the trailer. The employee sustained a right ring fingertip amputation.
