Incident Narrative
An employee had serviced an HVAC unit and was descending from a 4-foot step ladder when he missed a step and began to fall. In an effort to brace himself, he reached out and grabbed the HVAC unit's condensate pan, which sliced open his right hand and damaged the tendons.
