Incident Narrative

An employee's left index finger was severely lacerated while helping another employee clear a clogged mower chute on a commercial zero-turn lawn mower. The mower was turned off and the cutting blades disengaged, however the blower fan was still moving when the injured employee's left hand entered the blower fan. The finger had to be amputated.
