Incident Narrative
An employee working in sanitation was pulling the bucket out of the COP tank and spilled hot water onto herself. The employee suffered second degree burns on the chest, abdomen and legs. Water in the COP tank is circulated by a pump to clean the inside of buckets. The water temperature was approximately 180 degrees and the buckets hold approximately 5 pounds of water.
